The Enterprise Applications team is seeking an experienced Application/Software Developer III to join our public safety technology initiatives. This role focuses on the configuration, integration, development, and support of Records Management Systems (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications using Microsoft technologies.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Design and maintain software documentation.
- Develop and deliver application solutions based on customer needs.
- Support testing processes with internal users and third-party vendors.
- Ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.
- Stay up to date on public safety standards and technology best practices.
âś… Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with RMS and CAD systems.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Microsoft .NET Developer, including:
- .NET, C#
- REST APIs, XML/XSL, JSON
- SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
- Power BI for data visualization
- Experience using TFS, Azure DevOps, or Git for source control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with public safety applications and workflows, including:
- CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Systems)
- NCIC (National Crime Information Center) integrations
🎓 Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
