Your Mission:

• Lead the end-to-end API lifecycle: design, development, deployment, documentation, and governance.
• Architect and evolve scalable microservices-based systems using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Define and enforce API design best practices, versioning strategies, and security policies (OAuth2, JWT).
• Implement and manage API gateways and developer portals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align APIs with business and product needs.
• Own CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and container orchestration via Docker.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and observability across services.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in API design and management (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specs).
• Strong hands-on skills in:
• Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate
• Microservices architecture
• Docker & CI/CD with Jenkins
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with API management platforms like Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure APIM, or MuleSoft (nice to have).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
