Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Architect located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, with the option for some work from home. The Associate Architect will be working with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop 2D/3D architectural design. He will also be leading architectural licensing processes within public entities (e.g. municipalities).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage architectural design from concept to detailed design and execution.
  • Coordinate architectural work with multidisciplinary engineering teams (civil, mechanical, HVAC, process, electrical, automation, fire safety, etc.).
  • Prepare design documentation, technical drawings, reports, and permit applications.
  • Manage the licensing process of architectural projects with public entities, including municipalities and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure architectural designs comply with health and safety, and building regulations.
  • Lead client and stakeholder meetings for design alignment and approvals.
  • Support BIM implementation and digital collaboration on design deliverables.
  • Liaise with external partners, local authorities, and contractors.
  • Assist in site inspections, construction supervision, and design adjustments during execution.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture with minimum 6 months’ experience as architect, preferably in industrial environment.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on complex technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and GMP requirements (preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and architectural software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Portuguese and English proficiency required.
