Position Description

This is a permanent position in CITIC Securities Asset Management (HK) Limited's Product Development team responsible for supporting product and portfolio structuring projects across all CITIC Securities Asset Management (HK) Limited’s businesses: active investments, quant strategies, FOF strategies, investment solutions, fund structures, managed accounts, QDIl solutions, and other bespoke portfolios. This position is likely to be located in Hong Kong.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Junior member of the AM Product Development team, supporting existing team members in whatever capacity required for mutual funds, cayman funds, managed accounts and structuring projects, new product market research and supporting all aspects of product execution and product management
• Play important support role in project management, ensuring operational and execution excellence, and compliance with AM approval processes
• Working with sales teams to identify high potential projects, prioritizing workflow and setting product pipeline
• Meeting clients in junior product specialist capacity to explain products and portfolio objective

Requirements

• 1-3 years working experience in an asset management environment
• Excellent analytical and research skills and evidence of a solutions and project management mind-set
• Hungry for an opportunity to impress in an entry-level position in a leading and rapidly growing China-focused asset management firm
• Humility, work ethic and willingness to learn and do whatever required to become a useful supporting member of the Product Development team, with the ultimate goal of becoming an independent product structurer and developer
• Post-graduate Education with first class finance academics is an advantage
• Knowledge of investing in Asia Pacific markets, especially cross-border investment access to PRC markets, would be beneficial
• Fluent Mandarin and English language skills required
