Reporting to the Clubhouse Director, the Program Aide is responsible for implementing, leading, directing, and evaluating youth programs and activities in one or more program areas. This role involves providing supervision to members, participating in daily functions, and assisting with the smooth operation of the Clubhouse.

Hours:
Morning 6AM-10AM
Afternoon 2PM-7PM (hours may vary; up to 25 hours a week)
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
The essential job duties for this role include:
- Lead and implement programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.
- Promote and stimulate members’ interest in core area program participation.
- Ensure members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and receive respect, recognition, instruction, and constructive feedback to develop skills.
- Ensure program objectives are completed within club-specific requirements, resources, and timelines under the guidance of the Clubhouse Director, Assistant Clubhouse Director, and/or Specialist staff.
- Support programs managed by fellow Youth Development Professionals.
- Demonstrate leadership in relation to members, parents, Youth Development Professionals, and visitors conduct and safety to ensure a proper environment for member development.
- Serve as a mentor/role model for members.
- Apply corrective action that is fair, consistent, and age appropriate and provide written documentation and support when necessary for conduct/behavior issues.
- Assist in the cleanliness and safe operation of all program areas, Clubhouse, and grounds.
- Work cohesively with all Youth Development Professionals to foster a positive environment for staff and members.
- Assist and participate in all aspects of the Clubhouse including, but not limited to all program areas, programs, cleaning, or other scheduled duties as assigned.
- Enforce and abide by Clubhouse rules, organization policies, procedures and practices.
- Assist with other Clubhouse administrative duties as needed.
- Provide attention and direction to special needs children as required.
- Drive Club vans periodically.
- Maintain a professional appearance and bearing reflective of the high standards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.

- High school diploma or general equivalency
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
- Ability to work with youth ages 5-18.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to interact well with Youth Development Professionals, volunteers, and other related agencies.
