Job Role -AIX Administrator

Experience Range: 6 to 8 years

Job Description

Must Have

• Hands On experience on managing AIX IBM P-series Infra Operations, AIX OS, troubleshooting of hardware and operating systems.
• AIX OS Installation, Upgrade, Management, LVM administration, user management, VIOS administration, Server restoration, SEA, NPIV, NIM, HMC.
• Good experience in Performance Tuning. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Support for BAU.
• Project Handling - Upgrades, Migration, New installations, ITIL processes, Production support.
• Certifications in relevant field are highly desirable.
• Relevant experience in managing IBM incidents
• Knowledge of service and systems delivery.
• Knowledge of latest storage communication protocols and standards
• Incident management, prepare Incident Report with chronology of steps undertaken towards resolution, Immediate fix, RCA and permanent remediation, if applicable. Arrange to implement best practices / permanent remediation to avoid repeat incidents; identify Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions for every incident
