We are looking for a seasoned GitHub Expert with a deep understanding of Full Stack Development, experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), and a solid background in Travel Technology.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building travel-related software systems (such as booking platforms, travel APIs, Fares and inventory management systems), while also leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance the travel experience.
This role combines advanced development, GitHub workflow expertise, and the integration of travel technology and AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
GitHub Expertise :
Manage GitHub repositories and version control strategies for travel technology platforms.
Implement and oversee GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes specific to the travel industry's needs, ensuring smooth integration with travel systems.
Lead code reviews, pull requests, and branching strategies to ensure collaborative, efficient development workflows.
Develop and maintain custom GitHub integrations for travel-related APIs and services.
Train the development team on best practices for utilizing GitHub in a travel technology environment.
Full Stack Development In Travel Technology
Architect and develop full stack solutions for travel platforms, including booking systems, customer portals, and payment gateways.
Build and maintain scalable applications with travel-specific features like real-time availability, dynamic pricing, and global distribution system (GDS) integrations.
Work with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java) to develop seamless user experiences for travelers.
Integrate APIs from third-party travel services (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, etc.) and ensure high-performance and secure transactions.
Collaborate with product and UX/UI teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces tailored to the travel industry.
Large Language Model (LLM) Integration
Design and implement AI-driven features that enhance the travel experience, such as intelligent trip planning, chatbot services, and personalized recommendations, Fares prediction and Big Data analytic.
Utilize LLMs to automate customer interactions, improve query handling, and enhance content generation for travel products.
Work with data scientists to fine-tune LLMs for travel-specific use cases, including real-time flight updates, hotel availability, and customer support automation.
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and LLMs to ensure cutting-edge travel technology solutions.
Travel Technology Leadership & Collaboration
Lead technical discussions on travel-specific challenges such as multi-vendor integrations, inventory management, and cross-border payments.
Provide guidance and mentoring to teams working on travel platforms, ensuring code quality, scalability, and robust performance.
Collaborate with other departments like product management, DevOps, and AI/ML teams to deliver comprehensive travel technology solutions.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and evolving customer expectations in the travel domain.
Required Qualifications
Experience : 07 10 years of experience in full stack development, with proven expertise in Travel Technology platforms and solutions.
Languages & Frameworks : Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, Dot Net), especially in travel-related software development.
GitHub Expertise : Deep knowledge of GitHub, Git workflows, and GitHub Actions, with a focus on travel technology integration.
Travel Technology Experience : Hands-on experience with travel platforms, booking engines, and third-party travel APIs like Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.
AI/LLM Experience : Experience in developing and deploying LLM-based solutions within the travel industry, enhancing personalization and automation.
Database Management : Expertise in relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, with a focus on travel inventory and user data management.
DevOps Integration : Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) in the context of travel applications.
Security Practices : Strong understanding of security protocols and standards relevant to the travel industry, including data privacy and payment security.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications :
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) are a plus.
Any certification or formal training in Travel Technology platforms, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport, would be highly beneficial.
Certification or experience with AI/ML and LLM frameworks (e.g, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) is preferred.
