Summary

Job Purpose:

Responsible for coordinating with the global MDM team to establish and execute processes and tools that consistently define and manage the master data for Donaldson Company. MDM has the objective of providing processes for collecting, aggregating, matching, quality-assuring, persisting and distributing such data throughout the organization to ensure consistency and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of these information.

Playing an important role in performance of assigned master data management and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner to provide optimal performance and delivery to internal and external customers.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Execution of daily operations of the supplier master data management and maintenance
  • Execute and monitor supplier master data management and maintenance activities while complying with global master data policies and practices.
  • Implantation of processes to audit & measure the efficiency as well as quality of the MDM maintenance process.
  • Facilitating the development, implementation, training, and ongoing improvements of a global setup/maintenance process in the assigned areas.
  • Support the global MDM team to ensure the LATAM region is following the global process and achieving data quality metrics.
  • Support and execute data cleanup projects to improve data accuracy.
  • Analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvements.
  • Assisting with the implementation of the Global MDM strategy & processes to standardize / centralize master data management and maintenance activities.
  • Achieve and maintain key performance indicators as agreed with senior management and global MDM leadership.


Education Qualification:

  • 1 -2 years’ experience with executing established business processes and data standards (business process / data standard experience in the following areas is a plus: supplier, customer or item)
  • Strong understanding of how data is used for reporting and transactional activities (knowledge of sourcing/purchasing)
  • College degree, technical certifications, or equivalent experience beneficial
  • Fresh graduate students with a background in Spanish and Portuguese are also encouraged to apply.


Technical Competence & Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • MS Office proficiency, intermediate level in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio & etc
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience extracting data and developing reports in an ERP environment, SQL query is advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and work on multiple task assignments


Relevant Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle R12 application systems processes and support preferred.
  • Vendor master data maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of different types of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions


Others (% of travel, language, etc.):

  • Proficiency in Portuguese, and English, including reading, writing, speaking, comprehension, and communication skills
  • Travel: Less than 5%, depending on project requirements.
