Immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist – Reston, VA ($22-28/hr)

Responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining detailed records of financial transactions related to customer accounts. This position is a hybrid role (2 days in Reston and 3 days work from home).

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate invoices, month end close.
• Maintain and update billing records in a timely manner.
• Monitor payments and ensure timely receipt of funds.
• Ensure all payment terms and conditions are met.
• Ensure accurate data entry into accounting software or systems.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies or errors and work to resolve them quickly.
• Proven experience in an ERP environment.
• Coordinating with technical IT teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often required.
• Experience: 2+ years of billing analysis experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other office applications.
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation that would involve evening and weekend work approximately once every two months.
