Robert Half has partnered with a prominent organization located in Princeton, NJ, to identify an experienced and driven Accounts Payable (AP) Manager for an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in accounts payable operations, and prior experience with NetSuite ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AP Operations Leadership:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the full invoice-to-payment cycle, including vendor setup, purchase order matching, invoice processing, and disbursements.

2. Process Improvement:

• Develop, implement, and optimize AP workflows to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and improve reporting capabilities.

3. Vendor Management:

• Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships by ensuring prompt issue resolution.
• Foster partnerships that support the company’s growth and improve supply chain efficiency.

4. Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Adhere to GAAP, SOX, and company policies in all AP processes.
• Work closely with finance and compliance teams to maintain a robust internal control environment and prepare for audits.

5. Systems Oversight:

• Lead the optimization and maintenance of AP-related systems, including P2P platforms and payment solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with NetSuite and other financial systems.

6. Collaboration:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, accounting, and operations) to align on processes, budgets, and financial reporting objectives.

7. Reporting:

• Generate, monitor, and analyze AP metrics and reports.
• Provide actionable insights to senior management, aimed at improving decision-making and operational efficiency.
