Objectives of this Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Account Executive to assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the accounting team.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process invoices by verifying accuracy, obtaining approval, and creating payments.
- Manage expense reimbursements by receiving receipts and processing reimbursement forms.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor account statements to identify any discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare financial statements and reports by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Assist the accounting team with GST, TDS, and other tax-related matters, ensuring timely filing and compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding payments and invoicing, addressing any inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth processing of payments and invoicing, responding to queries and providing support as needed.
- Assist in both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Perform additional accounting tasks as required, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure daily transactions are accurately posted and reconciled with the general ledger to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Position Experience
- Minimum 1 year profile experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, and accounting software (Zoho preferred).
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and vendors.
- High levels of integrity in personal and professional conduct.
Position Academic Qualification
Min bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
