Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager for a permanent opportunity with a growing company located near Richmond, VA.

The Accounting Manager will manage and lead all finance and accounting functions. Responsibilities include leading month-end close, preparing financial statements and reports, conducting monthly analysis and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the company's accounting and finance functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow statements
• Oversee and manage annual budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct monthly analysis to provide insights and support for strategic planning
• Prepare financial reports for senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws/regulations
• Monitor financial performance and KPI’s
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Minimum 6+ years of accounting and leadership experience

Skills:

• Multi-tasker with excellent time management and ability to succeed in fast past environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead a team

Salary: $100-125k
