Description

We are seeking a proactive Accounting Manager excited to join a dynamic startup environment. You will be instrumental in shaping our accounting processes and financial infrastructure, collaborating closely with our existing accountant and leadership team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, flexible environments and is ready to take ownership of diverse financial responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Provide backup support for daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the CEO by preparing board materials, financial metrics, and reports.
  • Lead financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Manage the migration of accounting systems from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
  • Establish and continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic financial goals.
  • Provide payroll process support and compliance assistance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with financial reporting and board-level communications.
  • Proven expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with migrating accounting systems, specifically from QuickBooks to NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment.
