Job Summary:
As an Account Service Representative, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting clients who offer Federal COBRA. Your primary duties include answering clients inquires, troubleshooting account issues, processing life qualifying events and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong communication skills via phone and email, attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will interact with employers, brokers and participants to ensure a seamless experience with our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Participant Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employer groups, brokers, and participants regarding Federal COBRA benefits.
- Provide timely and professional customer service via phone and email.
- Educate clients on benefit plan rules, DOL guidelines and eligibility requirements.
- Assist participants with the Federal COBRA Enrollment process.
Account Management & Processing
- Process Life Qualifying Events, COBRA Enrollments and COBRA terminations in compliance with DOL guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy of data entered.
- Troubleshoot issues related to eligibility of COBRA benefits.
Compliance & Documentation
- Stay up to date with Department of Labor regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client and participant information.
Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve client concerns an improve service delivery.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and training employers on using our platform.
- Identify and suggest efficiency improvements in account servicing processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Customer Service Experience- 1+ year in a call center, benefits administration, TPA, healthcare.
- Benefits Knowledge- Familiarity of Federal COBRA a plus (training provided).
- Attention to Detail- Strong ability to manage data accuracy
- Problem Solving Skills- Ability to analyze client issues, troubleshoot, and provide solutions.
- Communication Skills- Excellent verbal and written communication for professional client interactions.
- Technical Proficiency- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Team Player- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Pay: $17.00-$17.50 hourly rate

Pay Details:
Hourly: $17 - $18
