Account Manager
Job Description: The primary role of a Secure Compliance Solutions (SCS) Account Manager is to manage SCS Clients with superior customer service and expand services, revenue and increase profitability. SCS provides Cybersecurity, IT, Governance and Compliance Services. We have a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC) that is US based. We are fiercely client focused and our passion for cybersecurity is clear to our customers.
This position may require working nights, light travel, and event attendance periodically throughout the year, as business dictates.
Job Duties
· Answer client questions, resolve internal/external issues.
· Identify additional products and services SCS can provide to customers.
· Build relationships with IT, Cybersecurity, Management, Ownership or any other decision makers at companies that use SCS products and services.
· Manage Sales Cycle from start to close including using sales tools provided by SCS. This includes but is not limited to using CRM, Contact Data Base, data and sales reporting, calling, emails, etc.
· Attending and participating in events that will increase prospects, SCS brand awareness, opportunities.
· Build and deliver presentations about SCS products and services.
· Continuously learn about industry information such as trends in cybersecurity, products, services. This will include successfully completing training provided by technology partners of SCS.
· Assist internal departments with efforts to improve operations, customer service, marketing & sales.
· Contribute to marketing efforts by providing data and opinions about what prospects and customers use of cybersecurity products and services. This includes but is not limited to collaborating with SCS marketing team members on marketing efforts such as inbound/outbound campaigns, lead generation, communication and follow up.
Qualifications & Skills
· High level of communication skills.
· Presentation building and execution.
· History of Achievement within Account Management.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team as well.
· Attention to detail, problem solving and great organizational skills.
· Customer-oriented with a strong interest in client satisfaction.
· Three to five (3-5) years technology account management and/or sales experience. Cybersecurity and/or technology experience preferred.
· Positive, goal-oriented attitude.
· High value on work ethic.
· Experience with basic Microsoft Office software.
· Experience using CRM software. Any Hubspot exposure and/or experience is a plus.
