Summary

Account Executives are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the Commercial and Industrial lines of business. Key Responsibilities include identifying viable leads and acquiring new business, targeting new business and competitor opportunities, focusing on revenue bands of $200-$2000 per month, maintaining awareness of market behavior and competitive trends, maintaining thorough knowledge of company services and pricing, establishing long term business relationships, executing service agreements, building relationships through company activities, partnering with Operations and Customer Service teams, performing site visits, utilizing SalesForce.com daily, achieving weekly activity standards, and meeting monthly growth quotas. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include achieving growth quotas, advanced communication, organizational, problem solving, time management, negotiation skills, effective CRM usage, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivation. Requirements include 3+ years sales experience with proven track record, 2+ years solid waste industry experience, and preferably a bachelor's degree in business administration, advertising, marketing or related field. Competencies include communication proficiency, problem solving, attention to detail, time management, critical thinking, ethical conduct, personal effectiveness, active listening, flexibility, and initiative. Working conditions involve professional office and field environments with moderate noise levels and use of standard office equipment. Physical and mental demands include ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and visual requirements such as close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
