Account Executive | Overland Park, KS

LHH is partnering with a client in the Transportation industry, who is seeking an Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their transportation needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Carrier Negotiation: Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to secure the best possible transportation options for clients.
• Load Coordination: Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to provide clients with the most up-to-date information and competitive rates.
• Documentation: Ensure all transportation documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transportation Broker or in a similar role within the logistics industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Compensation: $45,000 (base) + commission
• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
