Summary

Role Summary:

This is a full-time role for an Account Executive specializing in CCTV, Access Control, and Network Solutions. The primary responsibility of an Account Executive is to manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful delivery of services and products. This position works closely with clients to understand their needs, create tailored solutions, and drive sales growth. Additionally, Account Executives collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Build an intimate understanding of security solutions products.
  • Read, understand, and negotiate contracts.
  • Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how QOVO Solutions, Inc. can solve them.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: Prospect for new customers, host demos, create proposals, and close deals.
  • Aggressively exceed goals consisting of outbound phone calls, emails, demos, and trials every quarter.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with Technical Support to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth.
  • Consistently achieve quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives.

Required:

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

Education (Minimum Requirements): Bachelors Degree (4 yr) or Equivalent Industry Experience

Experience:

  • 2 + years’ experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry.

Skills And Abilities

  • Be comfortable talking with prospects and internal/external customers and building relationships and monetizing them.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving revenue.
  • Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing.

  • Working knowledge with the following software:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • CRM software such as Sales Force or Connectwise
  • Lead sourcing software such as ZoomInfo.
  • Valid Class C California driver’s license required, including proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Legally drive a vehicle in the state of California (with high probability of driving out of the state as well)

Preferred:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Working knowledge in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Working knowledge in Connectwise.
  • Working knowledge in Fieldwire.
  • Working knowledge in Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge in Adobe.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Office Environment (60%)
  • Work with computers and phones extensively.
  • Answer phones and make outgoing calls.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule that involves occasional work on nights and weekends.
  • Site Walks and Off-Site Training (40%)
  • Travel in vehicle to job sites.
  • Occasional airplane travel to job sites.
  • Walk up to 1 mile in different weather.
  • Walk on customer site on paved and unpaved ground.
  • Walk on active construction site with appropriate PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, etc.)

Compensation

  • $55,000-$65,000/year DOE
  • 8% Commission on all sales
  • Medical Benefits – Health (HMO and PPO options), Dental and Vision Insurance (50% paid by employer)
  • 401(k) retirement program with 4% company match
  • Paid Vacation (80 Hours accrued after probationary period)
  • Paid Sick Time (40 Hours accrued)
  • 7 full-paid holidays
