Job Description

As a System Architect, you will be responsible for defining and specifying new functionalities for the 6G Radio Resource Management user plane, ensuring they meet the ambitious performance and capability goals of this next-generation technology. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging 6G network technologies, RRM principles, and a strong analytical mindset to translate complex technical requirements into clear and actionable specifications. This position focuses on the specification of new functionalities and does not involve design or development.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Define and specify new 6G RRM user plane functionalities at BTS.

  • Create comprehensive documentation that includes functional requirements, performance targets.
  • Specify detailed use cases and scenarios for each new functionality, outlining how it will be used in real-world network benefit.

Stay at the cutting edge of 6G technology progress and industry trends.

  • Contributing to the development of new standards and specifications.
  • Monitor research publications and industry events to identify emerging trends and technologies that could impact the development of 6G RRM functionalities.

Conduct thorough technical analysis of proposed functionalities.

  • Evaluate the feasibility of implementing each functionality, considering available technologies, hardware capabilities, and potential limitations.
  • Assess the impact of new functionalities on existing network components, including potential performance bottlenecks, compatibility issues, and security implications.

Lead cross-functional meetings and workshops to discuss and refine functional specifications.

  • Facilitate discussions and presentations to ensure that all stakeholders understand the technical details and implications of the proposed functionalities.
  • Support the development of consensus on key design decisions and ensure that the functional specifications are aligned with the overall 6G network architecture.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Master's degree or PhD Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications with a strong focus on system architecture and specification.
  • Good expertise in 5G NR, LTE, and other relevant wireless technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise specifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
