Summary

The YouTube Producer, Pack Hacker, develops visual content and optimizes video channels for the Pack Hacker brand. This is a full-time, on-site position in Detroit, MI. Compensation will be based on the selected candidate's skills and experience. To Apply: Qualified candidates should submit to [email protected]: * Resume * Link to your video production portfolio * Compensation expectations Responsibilities: * Lead video content ideation and execution to increase organic views on YouTube and social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) * Collaborate with Editorial teams to develop creative concepts * Create shot lists and produce original photos and videos * Understand YouTube and social channel platform trends and best practices to optimize video content for SEO, views, likes, and shares on various digital platforms and devices * Review all video & photo content prior to publication * Oversee the production team and contract resources, including camera operators and post-production editors * Manage archive of footage, photos, and audio * Direct talent and crew during shoots * Manage studio and prepare for shoots, including equipment organization, gear maintenance, and prop sourcing * Capture thumbnails and handle basic graphic design tasks to support video and web content * Develop and maintain visual style guidelines to ensure consistency across all Pack Hacker video and design content * Train and mentor junior creatives on editing workflows and visual standards * Monitor performance metrics like click-through rate (CTR) on thumbnails and viewer retention to guide content improvements * Collaborate on cross-brand integrations with other AllGear Digital teams to develop unified campaigns * Be comfortable stepping in on camera as needed Requirements: * 4+ years of creative production experience, preferably at a media network or ad agency * Strong portfolio & reel showcasing a variety of work samples and projects * Experience scaling and optimizing content for YouTube and social channels * Proficiency / Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder * Experience with graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva * Experience working within brand guidelines to maintain a consistent visual identity * Ability to create custom graphics and/or work with After Effects templates * Strong client-facing communication and internal collaboration skills * Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Knowledgeable about cameras and audio equipment * Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects * Excellent eye for detail and a keen sense of aesthetics * Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Communications, or related field (preferred) About AllGear Digital: AllGear Digital reaches over 200 million readers annually, delivering trusted gear reviews and outdoor content.
