Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior PHP Developer with a strong background in Perl and C++ to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining web applications with PHP, as well as familiarity with scripting in Perl and C++ for performance-critical tasks. The role will involve developing and optimizing software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and optimize scripts and utilities using Perl for automation and system administration tasks.
• Work on performance-critical systems and write efficient, high-performance code using C++.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for better performance and security.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure code quality and functionality through comprehensive testing.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in PHP development, including frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
• Strong proficiency in Perl for scripting, automation, and system tasks.
• Solid experience with C++, particularly for building performance-sensitive applications.
• Understanding of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, including writing efficient queries.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, version control systems (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for coding and optimizing applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
