Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of applications through rigorous testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Log, track, and verify software defects in bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with developers, BA, and QA leads to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide timely feedback and support defect resolution.
• Maintain testing documentation and reports.
  
  

Required Skills

• 24 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data using queries.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications is a plus.
