An exciting long-term freelance opportunity is available for an experienced Workstation Performance Auditor to support a high-security IT infrastructure environment in Paris. This role focuses on identifying and resolving system slowdowns across secured workstations, contributing to the overall performance and efficiency of critical digital systems.


Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth performance audits on secured PCs, analysing the full boot process and related system components such as encryption, Active Directory, OS, VPN, middleware, and update policies. You’ll work with technical stakeholders to propose and drive the implementation of solutions aimed at reducing workstation boot times. Key deliverables include diagnostic matrices, remediation plans, and management-level reporting documentation

You Must Have:

  • Strong skills in interpreting system logs and analysing system layers and dependencies
  • Experience with tools such as Tanium or equivalent endpoint visibility platforms
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills (both technical and executive-facing)
  • Familiarity with government, public sector, or multi-administration IT contexts
  • Must be a European national
