Role Overview:
As the Workplace Experience Coordinator, you’ll be a key contributor to our team, owning the daily operations of our office and creating a welcoming, productive environment for employees and visitors alike. With a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for people, you’ll manage a wide range of responsibilities—from keeping our office space organized and functional to building vendor relationships and actively supporting our workplace needs as we grow. This is a non-exempt hourly full-time position that will be fully based in our Redondo Beach office. Expected hours of work are from Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm PST (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This role may require occasional adjustments to working hours based on business needs.
Compensation for this role is based on experience, with an estimated hourly range of $23.50 - $40.00. In addition, we also offer equity participation and full benefits. This position is onsite and will be based at our company headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities:
Proactively support workplace needs as we scale, ensuring all operations run smoothly
Coordinate building maintenance by liaising with property managers and arranging for necessary repairs, cleaning, and security services
Maintain office supplies inventory, including restroom and cleaning materials, as well as snacks and beverages
Greet all visitors and guests warmly, directing them to the appropriate team members or meeting rooms, and assisting with any basic IT needs.
Create a comfortable, clean, and organized environment for all staff and guests
Organize and prepare workspaces for new hires, ensuring they have the resources and tools needed for a successful onboarding experience
Plan and coordinate quarterly team bonding activities and events
Oversee onsite requirements, including managing space utilization and ensuring the office remains well-organized and fully equipped
Act as a point of contact for any office-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving concerns in a timely manner
Collaborate with the recruitment and operations teams, taking on ad-hoc tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
Experience in office management or a related role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and in a timely manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A meticulous eye for detail – you notice the little things that contribute to a seamless experience.
A flexible and proactive approach to managing multiple projects and resolving issues effectively.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and hardware including laptops, monitors and printers
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience organizing team events or office-related activities
Knowledge of building maintenance processes and vendor management
