About Sciential

Sciential is a digital marketing agency that provides digital marketing solutions for companies operating in the life sciences sector. We help our clients execute successful campaigns by delivering expertise in life sciences, digital marketing, and creative concepts. From our offices in The Netherlands and Poland, we have served over 80 clients across Europe and Asia. Since 2020, we’ve grown to a team of 20+ experts and we’re looking for new team members who want to join our journey of fast growth.

Are you our new Working Student for Web Development?

As Sciential's Web Development Specialist, you will work closely with our consulting team to translate client needs into functional and visually appealing websites using WordPress. You will have the chance to improve your skills while supporting leading life sciences companies in Europe and beyond. Your role will be key in helping deliver impactful digital experiences as part of our solution-driven and collaborative team.

What does your typical day look like?

Your Friday morning starts at 9:00hr with a standup meeting where you sync with the consulting and project teams about ongoing website projects. After a quick coffee, you jump into updating a client’s WordPress site, improving the layout and making small adjustments with Elementor. By late morning, you attend a creative brainstorm session, discussing new website designs for a biotech client. After lunch with colleagues on the rooftop, you spend the afternoon testing a newly built landing page for mobile responsiveness and speed. Before you wrap up, you check in with your mentor to review your work and plan the tasks for the next sprint. By 17:00hr, you log off, feeling satisfied with the progress you've made and ready for your next working day.

This is what we expect from you:

  • You are currently pursuing a BSc or MSc degree, preferably in business, marketing, media, or a related field;
  • You have some experience with WordPress and page builders like Elementor (or are eager to learn quickly);
  • You are passionate about digital marketing and interested in life sciences or B2B marketing;
  • You are eager to develop your web development skills further;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You are available for approximately 16 hours per week.

What we offer:

  • A flexible working student role (16 hours per week);
  • Hands-on experience in web development projects for leading life sciences companies;
  • Competitive compensation;
  • Opportunities to work remotely and from our Google-like office with a spectacular rooftop view;
  • Location next to Rotterdam Central Station (easy commute);
  • A dynamic, supportive team and room for personal growth.
