The Virtual Test Tools (NLG) team at Nokia Technologies specializes in developing tools that enhance the simulation of network elements and 3GPP protocols, driving the efficiency of testing teams.

Position: Tool development trainee

Duration: Full-time 8h/day, with the possibility to extend

Location: Hybrid in Athens, Greece

Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field;

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Assist in analyzing and estimating new tasks while effectively communicating progress or issues related to your tasks
• Collaborate with technical experts to ensure the successful achievement of committed objectives
• Engage in technical meetings with senior engineers to contribute to decision-making on the next steps
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

Must Have:

• You’re an undergrad in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• You have experience with C, C++, Python/scripting, and know your way around protocols
• You’re familiar with version control systems, especially Git
• You enjoy working in diverse, multinational teams
• You’re self-motivated, able to set priorities, and can work independently in a remote team

• You’re an analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (in Greek and English)
• You’re great at troubleshooting
