Job Description

The Cloud Mobility R&D Test team at Nokia Technologies focuses on ensuring the core elements of 5G networks meet the highest quality standards, with a strong emphasis on cloudification principles and customer requirements.

As part of this dynamic team, you’ll develop test tools for new features and collaborate with technical experts to drive the evolution of 5G networks, delivering top-tier solutions for customers around the world.

Position: Test tool developer Trainee

Duration: Full-time 8h/day, with the possibility to extend

Location: Hybrid in Athens, Greece

Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Develop and enhance internal test tools to support project and product validation
• Implement improvements and optimizations to existing test tool functionality
• Collaborate closely with technical experts to meet project goals and deliverables
• Actively participate in technical meetings alongside senior engineers
• Clearly and efficiently communicate task progress, challenges, and potential risks
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

Must have:

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
• Solid academic background in Telecommunications/Networking, Operating Systems, and Signal Transmission
• Familiarity with Linux application development and strong proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., C/C++)
• Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural and collaborative environment

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, paired with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities and a keen attention to detail
