Title: Workday Technical Business Analyst- Workday Financials

Location: Atlanta, GA

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and technology space, are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting critical Finance & Accounting systems and processes, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and shaping the way technology supports business operations.

As the Senior Enterprise Analyst, you'll act as a vital link between technical teams and the wider business. You'll work with internal departments to understand how they operate, what they need to work smarter, and then help translate those requirements into workable solutions-particularly within the Workday Financials ecosystem. The role is ideal for someone with a strong business analysis background and a passion for improving systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Finance & Accounting teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers on solution design and implementation

• Lead or contribute to the configuration and enhancement of existing applications, especially Workday Financials

• Support reporting requirements by building custom Workday reports and calculated fields

• Import and manage data via EIBs for use in reporting and integrations

• Create process maps, user stories, test scripts, and training materials as needed

• Participate in full project lifecycles-from requirements gathering through post-implementation support

• Act as a go-to resource for documentation, system health, and process efficiency

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience as a Business or Enterprise Analyst, ideally with a background in finance or accounting

• Strong working knowledge of financial processes such as Q2C, OTC, P2P, RTR

• Proven hands-on experience with Workday Financials including Revenue, Procurement, and Reporting

• Comfortable creating and importing data via EIBs and working with calculated fields in Workday

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and process tools like Visio

• Previous experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and SharePoint

• Solid grasp of both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies

• Comfortable working independently and with globally distributed teams

Education & Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience
