Summary

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) Superintendent Library Buildings and Grounds. The incumbent is the Wood Crafter (CNC) Supervisor. In addition to the supervisory responsibilities, the incumbent provides overall coordination of the individual craft and laboring efforts related to the building, overhauling and installation developments and the preparation of work areas and individual rooms for use when several craft and laborers are involved.

You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following screen-out factor for this position: Ability to lead or supervise workers to perform tasks in the woodworking and carpentry trade. Creates designs and fabricates high-grade cabinetry, furniture, woodwork and signs via various Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery.
