Responsibilities: As a WMS Specialist in the IT Applications department, you will be responsible for translating client requirements and organizational requests into solutions. You will also be a key source of knowledge and will enjoy sharing this with your colleagues in Support, Development, and Project Management.

After an introduction to our software packages and business processes, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of modifications and (sub)projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Translating functional requirements from clients and the organization into solutions
• Configuring and testing the WMS system and associated solutions
• Acting as a knowledge source for colleagues in Support, Development, and Project Management, as well as your team of WMS Specialists
• Providing 2nd line support to internal and/or external clients
• Communicating with other IT departments and Operations

Profile:

An MBO-4 or HBO diploma in IT, business administration, or logistics is an advantage, but we value experience in similar roles just as much. Do you have a lower education level? That’s not a problem! We are happy to discuss the possibilities with you over a cup of coffee. Additionally, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Experience in configuring WMS systems, preferably Manhattan Associates PkMS/WMi
• Knowledge and experience with SQL, and an understanding of database relationships
• A strong and confident attitude, ready to take on challenges
• Solid understanding of logistics business processes
• A professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Curiosity, independence, and strong analytical abilities
