Team Structure: 1 Lead Technician + 1 Helper

Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the installation of wireless infrastructure in a commercial office environment in Seattle. The lead technician will be responsible for the physical installation of 16 Aruba Access Points (APs) and 2 sensors on a false ceiling, with assistance from a helper for safety and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and secure 16 Aruba Access Points and 2 sensors on a suspended/false ceiling.
• Ensure all APs are mounted adjacent to pre-positioned network points.
• Connect APs using patch cables (provided on-site).
• Collaborate with the on-site helper to ensure safe handling and mounting procedures.
• Conduct basic verification of physical connections and placement accuracy.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and on-site protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in deploying wireless APs in office environments.
• Familiarity with Aruba networking equipment is preferred.
• Comfortable working at height (ceilings approx. 9–10 feet).
• Must bring a 6’ ladder suitable for ceiling access.
• Ability to interpret basic network layout plans or installation diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, secure installations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Tools & Equipment:

• All APs, mounting brackets, and patch cables will be provided on-site.
• Technician must bring:
• 6’ ladder
• Basic hand tools for mounting (drill, screwdriver, etc.)
• PPE as per standard H&S requirements
