Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer L3 to maintain and enhance our network infrastructure, the proposed position will be for a member of a managed services technical team, which is responsible for Wireless network, functions and services related issues (operations, and 3rd level support). The engineer will be working in a group of IT experts locally and within multiple projects to cover the required services functionalities and availability.



Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, Implement and Optimize wireless network projects.
  • Strong Implementation, troubleshooting Skills with different vendors such as HPE-Aruba, Cisco, Alcatel and Juniper.
  • Propose best WLAN solution that will meet customer requirements and needs.
  • Train & Supervise L1/L2 engineers and non-technical team members with latest WLAN technologies.
  • Maintain wireless equipment with latest required software and hardware upgrades.
  • Experience with Ekahau Survey tools to perform predictive design, Passive and active survey.
  • Validate RF link designs to confirm link performance, quality and reliability.
  • Prepare HLD and LLD for new scopes, projects or tenders.
  • Perform spectrum analysis for existing projects and implement recommended and optimization reports.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly health check.
  • changes to achieve approved service levels and equipment capacity.
  • Apply required configuration changes to client's systems as per approved change management.
  • Recommend and develop wireless best practices for new and existing projects.
  • Deep understanding of wireless authentication, security and encryption methods.
  • Experience in designing and deploying key wireless applications including mobility, VOIP ,location-based services, and guest wireless.
  • Advance knowledge of Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and Cisco ISE to control access control with granular role-based policies for authentication, authorization, continuous monitoring and enforcement.
  • Advanced Internetworking troubleshooting experience in a large-scale network environment.
  • Experience with Frames capture and analysis products such as Wireshark and Ekahau Capture.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Monitor network performance, proactively managing any issues and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead wireless network improvement projects, including coverage optimization and issue troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to end users, addressing network-related issues and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to develop network policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for network-related issues and updates.
  • Provide emergency on-call support and rapid solutions for new network requirements.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert experience with Ekahau Survey tools.
  • Advance knowledge of Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and/or Cisco ISE.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Wireless Networking.
  • CCIE Wireless or ACMX or CWNE.
