Location: New York, NY

Onsite: Yes, Monday-Friday

Hard Requirements: Active Directory, O365, Exchange Server, Managing Teams, Jira Configurations, ShoreTel System.


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT professional to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our IT department, which includes managing a team of four IT Technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our technology infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of a 4-person IT team.
  • Deploy and maintain IT solutions across the organization.
  • Manage and update the Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Administer Office 365 and Exchange Server 2013 (on-premise).
  • ·Ensure the security and functionality of enterprise-level antivirus solutions.
  • Manage and maintain backup systems, including Veeam and CA.
  • Oversee email security and desktop support/maintenance.
  • Act as the primary liaison for IT vendors (copier/printer suppliers, etc.).
  • Make IT purchasing decisions and contribute to long-term technology planning.
  • Manage IP-based phone systems (ShoreTel).
  • Support and maintain special software applications such as Connections, Anasazi, and Cerner.
  • Oversee mobile device management (MDM) for 100+ devices.
  • Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco switches.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing IT teams and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange Server.
  • Experience with enterprise antivirus, backup systems, and email security.
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms and mobile device oversight.
  • Basic networking skills, including Cisco switch management.
  • Experience with specialized healthcare or administrative software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
