The Windows Server Engineer provides technical support on the server systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation. He will take control over deployment and integration aspects of our server landscapes. As a Windows Server Engineer, you will be responsible for: Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability You propose innovative solutions that add value to the business You are able to investigate complex problems Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Provide 3rd level support Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Your Profile Master or bachelor degree, in IT is a plus Experience of min 5 years in a similar function Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft environments.
