With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Windows Engineer to join our team in Camarillo, CA! This is a full-time position onsite position.
Description of Essential Job Functions
Performs maintenance activities on windows servers and networks. Configures and troubleshoots issues with Windows/Active Directory//Office 365 administration, and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 when issues arise.
Management of server migrations, platform upgrades, Office 365 tenancy migrations.
Performs maintenance tasks for servers, hardware, fileshares, network attached storage, cloud storage, databases, and networks to ensure high availability.
Tests and certifies new versions of Windows Server Operating Systems to provide better solutions and integrations for applications.
Maintains and tests production servers. Supports development, test, and production servers including after-hours / weekend / holiday support and monitoring of server usage and up-time.
Integrates server automation using custom PowerShell scripts and third-party solutions.
Creates documentation and technical artifacts as required in support of the technical environment, assigned projects and policies and procedures.
Deploys, configures, and manages staff VPN access including the management of RADIUS servers running NPS.
Assists with Active Directory Schema upgrades.
Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates.
Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Handles various other duties as delegated by management.
Mentor other team members on a required basis and maintain high level of professionalism while engaging with team and customers
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and/or a related technical discipline desired.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Permissions, Server Hardware & Software, Active Directory, M365, Azure, and Networks.
Certifications like an MCSE, Server+, Network+ or similar highly desired.
Must have a working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, O365 and Azure.
Experience managing Windows Server physical and virtual infrastructures.
Experience with GPO Management, Veeam backup & recovery software, fileshare management, POLP, CIFS permissions, NIDS, and HIDS preferred.
Experience managing globally deployed server environments a plus.
Experience with automated system imaging (e.g., InTune AutoPilot, or similar) highly desired.
Experience building and configuring Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and Windows 10.
Understanding of TPM, 802.11, VPN, NAT, IPsec, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
Experience with M365 Administration.
Skills/Abilities
Expertise in windows Active Directory, Group Policy Management.
Prior experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019.
Experience working with Veaam backup and recovery.
Must be able to work independently.
Experience working with virtualization platforms – Hyper V/VMware
Experience troubleshooting Windows performance, event log tracing and traffic analysis.
Experience with Pulseway RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management).
Experience working with Azure Cloud services is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communications.

Physical Demands
