Provide Support: Work as part of the Unified Web Hosting Team with project-based initiatives or ongoing operational support, ensuring alignment with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and organizational standards.
Web Management: Manage and maintain websites built on .NET Framework and .NET Core within Windows environments, deployed across on-premises, Azure, or AWS infrastructures.
Automation & DevOps Practices: Implement automation for routine activities using DevOps methodologies and PowerShell scripting, improving efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Cybersecurity, Cloud, Active Directory, and Networking teams to configure, implement, and troubleshoot web hosting solutions on Windows platforms.
Web Analytics: Administer and optimize the Webtrends web statistics tool, ensuring accurate analytics and actionable insights for web performance and usage.
Reporting: provide visibility on the status of the services being delivered, create operating procedures, shared knowledge within the team, etc.
What we are looking for:
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
Web Hosting & Security: Expertise in IIS, ASP.NET, .NET Framework/Core, and web security (SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication protocols).
Knowledge of web publishing and deployment tools such as FTP, WebDAV, URL Rewrite, Web Deployment Tool, and RepliWeb.
Cloud & Automation: Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
Operating Systems: Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
Performance & Scaling: Experience in load balancing, request routing, caching, and performance tuning (e.g., multicore scaling, CPU throttling).
Identity & Databases: Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, SSO, and Microsoft SQL database infrastructure.
Networking & Protocols: Strong knowledge of DNS, HTTP, FTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, and related protocols with troubleshooting skills.
Monitoring & Analytics: Knowledge of APM tools and web analytics to optimize application performance.
The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
DevOps: experience with CI/CD deployments with Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
Containers: experience with container technologies or cloud serverless resources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be familiar with large-scale Web environments under high traffic loads.
Service Management methodologies (ITIL).
Service Management tools (ticketing systems).
