About Us:

Vera Inkjet is at the forefront of water-based inkjet printing innovation, specializing in research and development for cutting-edge ink formulations. We are looking for a Wide-Format Inkjet Printer Operator to assist with research projects and operate water-based inkjet printing systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain wide-format inkjet printers for water-based inks.
  • Assist in research and development projects, testing new ink formulations and print parameters.
  • Prepare and load various substrates like DTF transfer films, fabrics, film for testing and evaluation.
  • Monitor print quality, color accuracy, and ink adhesion, and document results for R&D reports.
  • Perform printer calibration, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with the R&D team analyzing print performance to help optimize ink formulations.
  • Prepare ink at the lab level and conduct quality control testing (viscosity, density, surface tension, pH, etc.) as needed (training provided).
  • Maintain inventory of inks, substrates, and consumables, ensuring proper handling and storage in the print lab.
  • Follow lab safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Open to occasional travel for research trials or customer support.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in operating inkjet printers (Kyocera, Epson, HP, or similar).
  • Knowledge of color management, ICC profiles, and print optimization.
  • Familiar with RIP software (Cadlink and others) and basic print file preparation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot print issues and collaborate with research teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Prior experience in inkjet R&D or laboratory testing is a plus but not required.
