Job Title: Wellness Center Technician

Location: Glendale, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

A new, high-tech wellness center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wellness Center Technician to support clients in using a variety of wellness and recovery technologies. This position involves guiding individuals through services such as body composition analysis, metabolic testing, cryotherapy, red light therapy, compression therapy, and more. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, customer-focused, and passionate about health, wellness, and human performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome clients and follow scripted greetings for both phone and in-person interactions
• Educate and assist clients with wellness services including VO2 Max testing, RMR metabolism testing, infrared sauna, halotherapy, PEMF therapy, and handheld cryotherapy devices
• Operate and maintain recovery and wellness equipment according to SOPs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions and explaining the benefits of treatments
• Support front desk functions including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing
• Monitor client experiences during services and escalate any concerns
• Adhere to the center’s brand standards, dress code, and service expectations
• Help with inventory, administrative tasks, and light cleaning duties
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in exercise science, kinesiology, or health-related fields is a plus
• Previous experience in wellness, fitness, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly learn and operate specialized wellness equipment
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred

Hourly Rate: $22–$25
