About The Role

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our company's databases. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database management, performance tuning, and data security. You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of our database systems and supporting business applications.

This is a contractual role with a tenure of 3 to 6 :

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, SQL Server
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data against loss or corruption.
• Manage database security, including user access controls and data encryption, to protect sensitive information.
• Diagnose and resolve database issues, including performance problems, corruption, and connectivity issues.
• Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to support application development and ensure seamless integration.
• Apply software updates, patches, and upgrades to database systems as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 Years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, with expertise in managing databases and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with DBMS such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex database issues.
• Query Optimization.
