Summary

We are seeking a Drupal Content Administrator & System Administrator to manage and maintain our Drupal-based platform hosted within a Microsoft Azure for Government cloud environment. This role is not a development/programming position but is analysis-focused, requiring expertise in content administration, system management, and cloud-based virtualization. Candidates should also have working knowledge of front-end customizations, including CSS stylesheet updates and Java plugin management.


Drupal Content Management:

· Maintain and organize site content, ensuring adherence to web governance policies.

· Update and publish content while optimizing for accessibility and usability (Section 508).

· Manage permissions, user roles, and workflow processes in Drupal.

· Modify and update CSS stylesheets to align branding and UI/UX standards.

· Manage and troubleshoot Java plugins and custom site features.

System Administration:

· Oversee platform operations within Microsoft Azure for Government cloud.

· Understanding of Drupal plugins, upgrade capabilities, log review and troubleshooting

· Manage system configurations, patches, and updates for security compliance.

· Monitor performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure uptime.

· Coordinate changes with the Drupal development team.

Analysis & Compliance:

· Conduct system audits and performance assessments to optimize efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with security policies, including government regulations.

· Provide documentation and reporting on system operations and improvements.


Required Qualifications:

· Experience with Drupal CMS in an administrative capacity.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, specifically government-focused environments.

· Understanding of virtualization and cloud-based infrastructure management.

· Familiarity with modifying CSS stylesheets for design customization.

· Advanced understanding of 508 compliance.

· Knowledge of tools like SiteImprove for evaluation and remediation of compliance metrics of the website

· Google Analytics knowledge and SEO improvement

· Agile knowledge and ability to work with tools like Jira

· Ability to capture requirements, build process flows and convert them into Information Architecture for websites

· Experience managing or configuring Java-based plugins or embedded tools.

· Ability to analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
