What will your role be?

As a Web Development Engineer with full stack expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, refactoring, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications. Your role will involve both frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and user-centric solutions. You’ll work closely with Digital Project Managers, PSL Leads, and the Head of Digital, as well as coordinate with our Cloud & Automation team based in Europe to support hosting platforms. You will be expected to refactor existing applications, participate in architectural decisions, and contribute to cloud modernization initiatives. Collaboration, innovation, and a proactive mindset are key components of this role.

Activities:

• Full stack development and maintenance of scalable web applications (frontend & backend)
• Refactor and modernize existing applications for better performance, maintainability, and scalability
• Collaborate with our Cloud & Automation team in Europe for hosting
• Work alongside Digital Project Managers, PSL leads, and Head of Digital to align development with strategic goals
• Translate business needs into functional web solutions using modern frameworks and technologies
• Work with the architecture, transformation and even business teams in North America (US and Canada)
• Work with our SAP development team in North America
• Monitor and troubleshoot system/application performance and incidents
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance in all developed solutions
• Contribute to modernization and cloud migration strategies
• Deliver clear technical documentation and support user training as needed
• Participate in Agile/Scrum-based development cycles with cross-functional, international teams

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

• 5-8 years of hands-on full stack development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, and/or MongoDB
• Experience with Angular and NestJS is a plus
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab for version control and DevOps processes
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum (SAFE) development methodologies
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional international teams
• Experience working in collaborative environments with Project Managers and other stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
