About the Client:
CanadianSME (www.canadiansme.ca) is Canada’s leading platform dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized businesses. As part of an exciting new initiative, CanadianSME is preparing to launch SMEHub.ca—a groundbreaking, community-driven membership platform designed to support and connect Canadian entrepreneurs.
To bring this vision to life, we are seeking a Web Developer & Coder who will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing engaging, user-focused digital experiences.
Salary and Shift:
Salary upto 50000 INR. Per month.
Night Shift job, timing will be discussed during the interview. THIS IS A FULL-TIME JOB; WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR FREELANCERS.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (especially with BuddyBoss or BuddyPress frameworks)
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code
- Customize themes and plugins to enhance user experience and performance
- Integrate payment gateways, email marketing tools, and CRM systems
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, mobile, and accessibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams to align tech with branding
- Manage site backups, hosting migrations, and regular maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in web development (WordPress & custom coding)
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Experience with BuddyBoss or BuddyPress is highly preferred
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Familiar with tools like GitHub, Trello, Figma, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience with membership sites, LMS platforms, or community forums
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, LearnDash, Mailchimp, or Zapier
- Graphic editing skills using Canva, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Knowledge of security best practices (SSL, firewalls, etc.)
