Project Description:
Luxoft is looking for a Web Application Developer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of our internal Admin Tool web application. This role provides hands-on experience in implementing new features, enhancing functionality, and working on both front-end and back-end development aspects of a web application.
Since this is an internal tool, we do not require a highly specialized front-end focus. However, the role is not purely back-end either. Instead, we are looking for an intern with strong web application development skills who can contribute effectively across the full stack.
Working hours: 5 hours per day (25 hrs per week). Ideally during morning.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new features in our Admin Tool web app.
Work with both front-end and back-end components as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving application performance.
Collaborate with senior developers to understand requirements and implement best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, frameworks, and development methodologies.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Currently in the last semester of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
Knowledge of web development technologies, including:
* Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue.js preferred).
* Back-end: Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
* Databases: SQL or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Understanding of REST APIs and server-side development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
