Weatherization Technician ( $17-$18.50/hour) – Pro Action is seeking high energy candidates to work as part of a growing team to support the community with weatherization upgrades. This is a 37.5 hour per week entry level position that comes with a competitive benefits package and the potential for advancement based on performance. The Technician must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., crawl, climb ladders and use hand and power tools. Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and various other construction related conditions. Must be able to maximize efficient use of time and resources and work as a team to help meet contracts. Must participate in training activities to stay current in procedures and techniques. Job-related experience with home weatherization improvements as well as installing blown in insulation along with various air sealing measures or a related field. General carpentry skills and ability to install replacement windows and doors is encouraged. A background check will be conducted. The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license that meets agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
