We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated team member to work on various civil, site, and storm water assignments, including hydraulic analysis and design for conveyance systems, storm water management and BMP’s, erosion control, permitting, and client/stakeholder engagement. Work will be in a team setting, supporting mid and senior level engineers and project managers with execution of planning, design, and construction phases of projects, including preparation of technical reports and memorandum, and development of construction plans, cost estimates, specifications, and permits as required.

Here's What You’ll Be Doing
- Participate in all phases of the design and tendering of Civil and Water Resources projects consisting of conventional infrastructure, roadway/highway surface drainage systems, municipal storm sewers, and stormwater management/ BMP facilities.
- Support and collaborate with teams on multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits.
- Conduct preliminary engineering by analyzing data, performing calculations, and evaluating options to develop the best solution(s) and make recommendations
- Plan and design projects following company, construction, and government standards, using design software and drawing resources
- Technical writing and reviews, providing clear, concise input to investigations, memorandums, or solutions reports.
- Preparation of drawings and specifications as well as changes to drawings based on engineering staff and supervisor markups, edits, QA/QC comments and/or suggestions
- Communicate and coordinate information with other engineering disciplines and company offices.
- Attend project meetings, coordinate work with project team members, supervisor/client

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline, is required
- At least 3 years of working experience is required. Project management experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the full range of design activities including preparation of functional and detailed design drawings, reports, contract documents, and tendering.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience working in GIS (ArcGIS), CAD (AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoad), Bluebeam, and ProjectWise.
- Experience with a variety of hydraulic modeling software packages, such as PCSWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS
- Desire for a mix of office and field work with the ability to successfully engage with the public, construction contractors, and client staff.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $100,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
