Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Resources Engineer located in Greenbelt, MD. The Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for conducting hydrology and hydraulics analysis, developing stormwater management plans, performing drainage and floodplain management, and implementing erosion and sediment control measures. The engineer will also be engaged in stream restoration and ensuring compliance with NPDES/TMDL permitting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Water Resource Management, Hydrology, and Water Quality
• Proficiency in Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control
• Knowledge of floodplain management regulations and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• PE license preferred but not required
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
