This is a national engineering firm that offers senior engineers with 15+ years exp the flexibility to work from home if they need to while still having local offices around the country.

Since you're a senior engineer you know the drill, EIT/PE is very strongly preferred.

This particular shop isn't super particular about your software background but Revit (shocking right?) is their preferred software. Also, if you have Civil 3D that's a bonus but again not required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while promoting sustainable practices. This position requires a strong background in environmental and civil engineering, as well as experience in water treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize wastewater treatment processes and systems.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis of wastewater systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Perform water quality analysis and troubleshoot treatment issues.
• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and reports.
• Manage projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable design principles.
• Conduct fieldwork to collect data and assess existing wastewater systems.
• Utilize CAD software for design and documentation of projects.
• Implement chemical treatment processes to enhance water treatment efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in wastewater engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and regulations.
• Experience with CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
