Our client needs a Water Mitigation Estimator that must respond quickly to all mitigation leads. Establish customer relationship for mitigation services. Educate customer on the mitigation process. Work with insurance adjusters to obtain claim approvals. Ensure that estimates meet client and adjuster requirements.2. Project Initiation. Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for mitigation projects using Xactimate software. Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate. Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgraded. Work with Project Manager to ensure proper scope of work for mitigation team.3. Project Planning. Work with Project Manager to deliver thorough, complete and accurate final estimate to office for customer/insurance invoicing. Necessary Experience and Skill Set 2 years previous restoration industry estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience Superb customer service track record Effective written and oral communication • Advanced math skills • Proficient use of following software: • Xactimate estimating software • RMS • Symbility • MICA • Fire and ICE • Xactanalysis • Xatcaware • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Team Player • Current IICRC certifications are preferred Formal Education/Training HS diploma required, BA in engineering, construction science or similar relevant field preferred Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements This is a full-time position, working 7:00 a.m-.5:00 p.m., Monday- Friday, 40+ hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work.
