We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with experience in an electronics manufacturing environment to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling of electronic components, finished products, and materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, logistics coordination, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, and distributing electronic components and finished goods.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of sensitive electronic components, preventing damage and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) risks.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and implement best practices to reduce stock discrepancies.
Enforce strict quality control measures for incoming and outgoing materials to meet manufacturing standards.
Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth supply chain flow.
Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and industry-specific regulations.
Train and supervise warehouse staff in handling fragile and high-value electronic components.
Oversee the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and minimize delays in production.
Manage and oversee warehouse equipment, including forklifts, ESD-safe storage racks, and barcode scanning systems.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations and reduce waste.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing or high-tech environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with handling sensitive electronic components, ESD safety practices, and inventory control.
Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Certifications: Forklift certification and ESD handling certification (preferred).
Leadership: Strong team management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and oversee quality control.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and optimize warehouse efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory principles.
Experience in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or IPC standards for electronic manufacturing.
Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
Work Conditions:
Warehouse and production floor environment with exposure to ESD-protected areas.
May involve standing, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment.
Flexible shifts, including possible weekends and overtime, based on production needs.
