BDR is seeking a On-Site Shift Supervisor to join our growing team! This position will be on-site in Golden, CO and Lakewood, CO. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Role Overview
The On-Site Shift Supervisor will be an expert in procedures and performing material control through receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation functions. Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to scheduling and prioritization. Ensure accurate and timely reports are submitted to the Program Manager. Assist with creating the staff’s schedules and will have experience with conflict resolution as well as the ability to anticipate/solve common problems.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in procedures and performing material control through receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and transportation functions
- Conflict management skills and the ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Time management skills to adhere to scheduling and prioritizing
- Provide overall supervision for employees ensuring that work is scheduled properly to maximize resource allocation
- Ensure accurate and timely reports are submitted to the Program Manager
- Supervise to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services
- Quality control to ensure work is performed as scheduled
- Oversee inventory (accurate and discrepancy) documenting gains and losses, storage and distribution of a variety of materials, durable medical equipment and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment
- Responsible for inventory integrity of Government-owned mission stock
- Plan the use of equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on a weekly and monthly basis
- Establishes deadlines, prioritizes, work sequences, general work schedules, methods, and policies
- Accommodate workload changes due to surges and fluctuations
- ability to plan for current and future work schedules through workload data, estimates, and information on staffing needs
- Recommendations to scheduling of projected work and ensuring work is done properly and efficiently
- Familiarity with OSHA and other related health and safety policies and regulations
Required Minimum Qualifications
- One or two years of higher education or technical/trade education equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years with five years preferred in supervising warehouse logistical operations
- Experience with OSHA health and safety policies/regulations
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting a VA or similar government agency warehouse and logistics program
